Born 1981 in caracas, Venezuela

being involved within the woodworking industry has allowed Nelson’s subconscious creativity to discover through the manipulation and observation of different methodical procedures, a route towards the activation of imagination. This is triggered by what he calls “leftovers of the process”.

nelson’s work is based on what he sees as unnoticed  beauty, to therefore create work pieces hoping to be appreciated from another perspective.

Dust left on the side of a surface, thick paint spitting out of a spray gun, clogged sand paper,  scratched dried paint, split joints, cracked paint, twisted wood planks, spilled paint, and so on, are Nelson’s daily sources of inspiration.
